Children's Play Area
We are trying to come up with ways to keep our children amused, and yours! so we have installed a wonderful piece of play equipment, which has been designed for us especially and is unique to the Eels Foot. It has been built in the form of a traction engine as Garretts used to build them in the nearby town of Leiston.
Caravanning at the Eels Foot.
We are about to open our new Caravan Club site which will have electric hook up for 5 Caravans. The site is located in the bottom field at the pub, overlooking the beautiful marshland with cows grazing on them. The view is exceptional. We will be taking bookings soon for the summer holidays, the cost will be £12.50 per night per caravan, for more information contact the pub either on the phone, 01728 830154 or via email which can be done through our contact page.
Petanque Piste
We have just joined the Suffolk Petaque League and have many locals who now play regulary for the Eels Foot Petaque team. We currently play home matches in the pub car park but have embarked on building our very own Piste at the top of the beer garden. This will be open soon and will be available to anyone who wishes to have a game.
Cycle Hire
We have incorporated The Eastbridge Cycle Hire Company to the pub and charge a competitive rate with a good range of quality bikes, we can deliver and pick up, see the cycle hire page for more details.
Birding tours
If you choose to stay with us we can arrange for a local birding expert to take you on a tour of RSPB Minsmere, this is perfect for people who a new to bird watching or for people who wish to see specific birds in the area, which may be difficult to find.
