About the Eels Foot Inn
We aim to offer our customers delicious food and drink, a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and exceptional service. Head chef Adam Davis and his kitchen team have a passion for quality, seasonal food, using produce from local suppliers wherever possible. With fresh fish delivered daily from Lowestoft. Fruit, vegetables and meat sourced from Suffolk farms and eggs from the free-range chickens that wander the country lanes surrounding the village.
We have six large comfortable ensuite bedrooms to the rear of the pub which can accommodate families and even your four legged companions (we even had a parrot stay once!) As well as having a Caravan Club site.
Our extensive gardens and sheltered patio areas are perfect for a little lazyman's bird watching. Customers can enjoy barn owls quartering the surrounding marshes, otters playing in the dyke along side the caravan site and marsh harriers sky-dancing over the reed-beds! We haven't forgotten the younger members of your family having two extensive pieces of play equipment a "Ghost Ship" and a "Traction Engine" to provide plenty of enjoyment.
The Eel's Foot Inn has a long tradition of Folk music and musicians still gather on a Thursday evening for a jam session. The locals call it "Squit Night" and it attracts musicians from near and far. Guitars, banjos and even the Jewish harp can be enjoyed. For a more traditional Folk experience come and join us on the last Sunday of the month when a local folk club join us.
